I moved to Tirgu Mures almost 3 years ago.  I came to Romania for the first time in 2010 to attend a dramatherapy and play therapy summer school in Zernesti.  While I was there I met my current husband Matyas and I decided to move to Romania from the USA.  Since having moved here I have been working professionaly as a trainer for ATJDR, the Romanian association for play and dramatherapy.  In my transition here I have had the challenge of studying two languages, Romanian and Hungarian.  Since the birth of my son I am now living primarily in Tirgu Mures and have been teaching English to children and adults privately as well as groups and individuals in children's homes and schools.  I have been inspired to teach in a creative way as I myself have experienced how difficult it can be to learn a new language and I feel if I am having fun while learning or teaching the student and I are more motivated!   I am a registered drama therapist.  I hold a MA in counseling psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy from CIIS.  I have my bachelor degrees in theater and psychology. I have enjoyed working with children and adolescents for the last ten years in a variety of capacities—counseling, teaching and mentoring.  I currently reside in both Europe and the USA with my amazing husband and beautiful baby son.
